In my third trimester and terribly itchy. Could I have ICP?

I'm at full term in my pregnancy, and for the last few weeks I've had terrible itching on the bottoms of my upper arms. Now the itching is also affecting my outer left thigh, and both of my ankles, as well as my left clavicle. There aren't really any rashes, but little intermittent scattered scabby bumps that I can only assume are from scratching. The itchiness tends to get worse as the day goes on, and I don't think my swelling appendages are helping. I researched the symptoms and read about something called Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP), and it sounds pretty serious. At my last doctor's appointment I complained about the itching, and the nurse practitioner recommended Benedryl and also ordered some blood work. But my palms and soles aren't itchy. Am I overreacting? What could I be experiencing if not ICP?
