The Republican party use to believe in capitalism, now they are corporate socialists? Why the change?

We no longer have capitalism in the US but corporate socialism where profits are kept and losses are socialized on the back of the taxpayer. GE paid no taxes this year. None. Mussolini did much the same thing, interfering in the market, essentially making all of the biggest businesses in Italy an appendage of the government, forcing tax-payers to pay to keep them afloat, and defending them from competition. This is not capitalism - it's corporate socialism.
