Why does he care about me so much?

There is this dude at my highschool he sayd he is in love with me but I refuse to believe him because I have had my heart broken a lot so he is always telling me how we were meant to be together and how he is not like the other guys he sticks up for me when I get in trouble hr takes my punnishment I dont get why he would do that. So he asked me to dinner as a friend and so I took htis offer. But I ended up running out the resturant because I changed my mind and he comes rinning after me and we got into an argument about him helping me. He grabed my arm and told me to tell him we wernt meant to be and he'd leave so I was about to push him away when he grabed my hands and wouldnt let go. He kissed me and I kissed him back and just stood there and he told me he was sorry for bothering me and he'll never do it again and left. I dont know im starting to develope dome feelings for him what can I do? Advice
