Can I enlist with a New Jersey recruiter to join a reserve unit in California?

I am looking at joining the Marine Reserves and also planning to move to California in September. I would like to start the enlistment process as soon as possible, but before I waste any recruiters time, I was curious if anyone knows if a recruiter in my current state of New Jersey could enlist me into a unit in California?
