Did god recreate animals after the original sin to account for the adaptations they have against predators?

There has always been predators since life on Earth began. There had to be it was part of the environment and the cycle of life. Fauna (with humans) are born they either get eaten by a predator or they are a predator, either way they eventually die and get eaten by another animal.
